Michael Ivey Returns to McLean Engineering

McLean Engineering is pleased to announce that Michael Ivey will be returning to our firm as a Senior Engineer on July 5.  Michael will be returning after 10 years as Senior Engineer for Participant Services with Electric Cities of Georgia.

Michael will continue to serve cities through a partnership between McLean Engineering and Electric Cities.

While at Electric Cities, Michael further developed his expertise in many areas of distribution engineering including system design, protection, power quality, energy conservation, power supply needs, territorial issues, and NESC and NEC code compliance. He also worked as an expert on cost-of-service and rate design, budgeting and financial planning, strategic planning, education and training, and legislative impacts.

Prior to Electric Cities, Michael worked as an Electrical Engineer at McLean Engineering from 1994-2000, where he developed skills in transmission, substation, and distribution protection and design; system planning, facilities mapping, cost-of-service and rates.

Many of you know Michael from his previous work with McLean Engineering or with Electric Cities. We are glad to have him back!
